Kathy Dunderdale sworn PC Leader

Premier Kathy Dunderdale was today officially sworn in as the Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador at a leadership convention attended by Party delegates from across the province.

Addressing numerous supporters at an afternoon rally, Premier Dunderdale said Newfoundlanders and Labradorians hold the key to our future.

She said her focus is on what lies ahead. “As amazing as our past accomplishments have been, my optimism is grounded, not on how far we’ve come, but on what I see coming next. And what magnificent things are on their way!”

The Premier called on Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to join with her as partners to achieve the full measure of our province’s vast potential. “Together we are strong. Together we are proud. And together this is our time, Newfoundland and Labrador, to shine.”
